BEACHES

We’re only 25 minutes from some of the best gay beaches in the South of France - many of which are gay and nude. Our favourites are Serignan - a quieter, wilder beach with nude and gay sections; Cap d’Agde - part of Europe’s largest naturist resort and infamous for raunchy beach shenanigans; and Espiguette - huge and nude and popular with the boys…

BEACH CLUBS

If sand and a warm bottle of water aren’t you’re thing, then step it up a notch at one of the area’s many chic beach clubs. Le Mandala is our favourite - it offers comfy beach beds, cute bronzed drinks waiters, a great cocktail and tapas bar, shaded lounge and one of the best beach restaurants in the south of France.

ROCK POOLS

Once you've had your fill of the region's gay beaches, the rock pools at Héric and Colombiers offer a truly memorable alternative to the sea. Filled with crystal-clear mountain water, some are 2 meters deep. Take a picnic and lots of wine, and claim your own pool for a day of sunning on the rocks and cooling off in the water.

LAKE SALAGOU

If you get tired of the gay beaches of the South of France, 25 minutes from us is Lake Salagou, a stunning lake of dark red Martian landscapes. Find a quiet cove shaded by trees for a spot of skinny dipping in the lake’s cool waters. Then enjoy lunch at the gay-run ‘Auberge du Lac’ nearby, with its superb views of the lake.
